Länsförsäkringar a good choice for a M3 Cabrio -97?

Hej!

Sorry I write in English, I'm from Germany so I can read Swedish quite well but to write will take some more time to learn... I'd be happy "om du svarar på Svenska" :-)

I have read a lot of posts and it seems there are very big differences in prices for insurances especially for cars like an M3. I'm also afraid that the fact that it's a Cabrio and it would be directimported makes it even more complicated to find a good price.

I had my 535i -89 insured at LF and I was pretty satisfied. So I checked (on the web) for the M3 and I got almost 14.000.- for a halvförsäkring, what seems much to me. BTW, I'm 29, license since 1991, no accidents and live in Malmö.

And now finally my question: Can somebody give me some hints which försäkringsbolag would be worth calling and which not? Or should I just stay with LF?

Tack i förhand!

P.S.: I think this is probably the best BMW page I have ever been to..!

I've heard that Länsförsäkringar would be a pretty good choice ( and with good choice I mean few problems when you have a claim). Otherwise calling around (perhaps difficult if you cant handle the language very well) or as starre suggested use a site that does this for you. I can recommend insplanet.com aswell.

Good luck

I belive LF is the Cheapest.. but also cheapest the other way around to! Most other companies will let you have a free lawyer to take care of your Claim.. But LF won't let that, or atleast it's very hard to get it!

Hope you understand my point...

Thanks to everybody for your answers!

Until now I could compare if, Folksam and Länsförsäkringar, LF is by far the cheapest. As I have been customer there already and was pretty satisfied, I guess I will go there again.

It's a pity that you have to specify a regnr at pricerunner/insplanet. This makes it useless for people who look for an insurance for a car that is not already registered in Sweden, like a directimport.

den raden var det inte många som klarade av att läsa...
