Tunning chip + Idle valve = Disfunctional idle valve and unstable motor idle + 10% Hp Anyone who knows is a disfunctional idle valve has to to with the trimed microchip? I have noticed that when i change back to the normal chip i have a great engine idle!!! But the problem with the warm start of the engine remains. Best regards JV | |
| Hi ivenos, I have not installed a chip in my car and I am not an expert on tuning but I can imagine that if the chip alter the ignition timing slightly combined with an alterd duration for the injectors, you can probably experience problem with the idle. If you combine this with a tuning cam shaft, the problem is likely to increase. | |
