Hello, not even two years ago I had a faulty ABS sensor front left on my 2000 e38. I replaced it with an Hitachi sensor and everything worked after I reset codes in INPA. Now a couple of weeks ago it started acting up again, but I knew that the contact didn't want to connect properly last time so I just now soldered the wires together instead of using the old bad connector. After reseting codes and viewing wheel speeds on INPA it still won't give me any values on front left. I read that the contact ring on the wheel bearing could be bad as well but I recently replaced the wheel bearing front left. Anyone have any ideas on where to look or how to troubleshoot? Anywhere specific that the wiring harness could be bad? Or how could I measure with a multimeter? Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated! | |

Hello, on these cars it crucial that you use an original sensor. Otherwise you dont know what you get. Also, in worst case, it can be a faulty ABS ECU. But that usually gives other error codes. Mvh Ola Min webshop: Länk Mina bilar: Länk |
