Hi, My x3 car license plate was stolen last year, and after that I don't know how to mount my rear license plate back again, I just use some glu and iron string to tie that up. And recently i just decided to really fix it and found out the real problem is the license plate base was also stolen as well, but what left there are only two square holes. That makes me really confused, even I buy the base, it doesn't seem to fit either, do I miss anything? Don't know how to add a picture here, in the rear license plate place, there are only two squire holes left, you can put your finger cross the hole, but it is very thin, won't be able to use a screw. | |

I think these are missing, no 6 in this figure ( and the screws): Länk (Expanding nut 8X8 MM pn 51127020321, available at BMW dealer or ebay) /Gunnar |

Thanks for your answer @FAF, it looks like I need to buy the screws also the license plate holder bracket, do you know where/how I can find the exact component for my car model? for example base on my license number. |

@FAF, looks like the link you gave me actually is the same when I search for the model of my car, although mine is 20D, thanks, I will go to the BMW dealer and ask them how much it would cost to buy all of those parts...Thanks again. |
