Mr Hazzel! Det är tre olika uppdateringar vi talar om här. 1. Bilens multimedia-programvara uppdateras via att lägga en .bin-fil på en usb-sticka. Förutsättningarna är att du får fram rätt .bin-fil från bmw.com/update och att du går till rätt ställe i iDrives menyer 2. Kartor till navin lägger du också på ett usb-minne och petar in i rätt usb-port (har du två funkar det bara i en av dem). Är allt rätt så startar uppdateringen automatiskt och du får en fråga om en FSC kod. Men det är mycket som kan vara fel. Tex plattformen, versionen på kartan, typen av USB-minne och hur detta är formatterat eller hur stort det är. Äldre bilar (dvs din) är kinkigare här. Du kan dela upp uppdateringen på 3 usb-stickor om den består av tre olika mappar. Denna FSC-kod kan du med rätt programvara själv generera. Detta är dock def överkurs för dig här och nu. Det finns även en grå marknad med folk som tar betalt för detta och då ligger priset runt E50. 3. Gracenote kan endast uppdateras genom att först ta fram den hemliga servicemenyn. Detta är överkurs och något du förslagsvis väntar med till du känner dig mera hemma i systemet. Bilen bör vara igång vid dessa övningar. Detta då tändningen på en BMW slår av automatiskt efter bara 5-10 minuter om inte motorn är igång. Tyvärr finns mig veterligen inga riktiga tredjepartskodare i Sverige såsom det finns massvis av i USA. Alltså firmor till vilka du kan åka och få din bil uppkodad. |

Hej Arneby och tack! Pratade i dag med BMW angående att jag inte har "software upate" på min meny. Enligt dom går det då inte att uppdatera någon mjukvara i multimedia-anläggningen.,det enda som går att göra är uppdatering av kartorna. Såååå.....återstår tydligen att skaffa kartor. BMW Ville ha drygt 2800kr förndom inkl koden. Tips på altenativa anskaffningsställen? |

Du ska inte tro på ALLT dom säger. märkligt då att jag kunder uppdatera farsans gracenote/multimedia... min lokala bwm handlare visste heller inte vad jag pratade om..så bli inte förvånad |

Nej, lita inte på BMW-handlarna. De i säljhallen vet oftast inte ett dyft om detta och de på verkstan lever i en illusion om att de ska veta allt och du som kund så lite som möjligt. Något som både BMW Sverige och BMW Munich givetvis även tutar i dem på alla utbildningar. |

Vi kanske har olika system i våra bilar, jag är ingen expert på området. Tyckte bara att 2800 lät orimligt dyrt... |

Ja, det gör den. Men då får du betala genom näsan för dessa plastbitar. Om din 09:a har alltför gammal mjukvara bör du istället åka till BMW och få den uppdaterad. Long overdue. Tar en timme eller så och kostar ca tusenlappen. |

Brukar aldrig ha problem att hitta filerna via torrents. Men BMW ROAD MAP EUROPE NEXT 2016-1 hittar jag faktiskt inte. Några pekare eller tips? |

inte heller 2016-1 PREMIUM lär du hitta. Dom finns endast på BMW MAP Servern än så länge.. På torrents om nån månad el så,skulle jag tippa på. fortfarande splittade i WEST o EAST |
