I serviceprogrammet hittar jag 3 olika typer av service: 1. Oil Service 2. Inspection I 3. Inspection II Frågan är hur ofta görs de olika serviceprogrammen. Finns det ett ungefärligt miltal för vardera exv. vart 1000:e mil eller dylikt? Finns det andra serviceprogram? | |

BMW Inspection 1 Body / electrics · Check the lights. · Check instrument and inskription lightning. · Check the horn, headlight flasher and hazard warning flashers. · Wipe-wash system: check wiper blades and washer jet settings. · Check condition and correct operation of seat belts. · Oil or grease the door, bonnet and boot catches and check that they operate correctly. Engine Compartment · Call up faults from memory. · Renew the spark plugs. · Check valve clearances and adjust if necessary. · Oil or grease the rotary shaft pivots and bearing points and the throttle butterfly linkage. · Intake air silencer: renew air cleaner element (renew more frequently in more dusty conditions). · Coolant hoses: inspect for leaks, check coolant level and coolant concentration, and top up of necessary. · Note: change the coolant after max. 2 years (filling quantity as required). 1 · Power steering: inspect for leaks and low oil level, top up oil if necessary. · Brake hydraulics: check fluid level and top up if necessary. · Important: renew the brake fluid at least once a year. 1 · Check fluid level and antifreeze concentration for windscreen washer and intensive cleaning system, and top up if necessary. · Check acid level in battery cells and top up with distilled water if necessary. · Check tension and condition of all V-belts, and correct tension if necessary. Renew if necessary. 1 Running gear · Change engine oil and renew filter element (5.75 L) · Check operation of lambda probe. · Gearboxes / transmissions (all): inspect for leaks. · Fuel lines, hoses and tank: inspect for correct location, condition and leaks. · Exhaust system: check condition, location, mountings and freedom from leaks. · Steering: check for freedom from play. Check condition of tracks rods and front axle pivots, steering box, linkage, sleeves and joint disc. · Self-levelling suspension: check oil level and top up if necessary. · Front (and if fitted, rear) disc brake pads: remove and install, check overall thickness, renew pads if necessary. Check surface condition of brake disc. Cars with light-alloy wheels: grease centering spigots. · Brake system connections and lines: check for leaks, damage and correct positioning. Clean foot brake linings and drums, and check for war. Check wheel brake cylinders and dust sleeves for leaks, check free movements of handbrake cables. · Adjust foot brake and handbrake. · Tyres: check pressures and correct if necessary (including spare wheel), check external condition, tread depth and tread wear pattern. If uneven , check and correct wheel alignment after obtaining customer's permission. 1 Final check · Check items affecting road safety. § Brakes (bed down parking brake on cars with rear disc brakes). § Steering or power steering. § Automatic transmission. § Springs and chock absorbers (visual examination) § Mirrors. § Heater blower § Check telltale and warning lights on instrument panel § Check control displays. 1. invoiced as an additional item.
