Some help needed with my car in Stockholm

Hello people! It's a nice site you have here!

I've recently moved to Sweden - and yup, I drove a 24 years old car 3000km to come here.

I would greatly appreciate if you would share some common knowledge with me since I don't speak Swedish (yet)...

First, I'm interested in where can I get original BMW parts cheapest - I might need these, cause I do most of the work on my car myself.

Second, my car has, few days ago, developed a small water leak inside the cabin, and I am pretty sure that the windscreen sealing gone bad is the culprit. I want to know who (or which company) could be able to pull out my windscreen, change the sealing (a 650kr part) and put everything back, for a reasonable price. I checked with the local dealership, and they want 4000kr for the labor alone - plus they don't guarantee that they won't break the windscreen... I think it's too much for something like 30 min. job. If it's against site's policy to advertise in any way, please send me a personal message...

Many thanks in advance!

Cheers!

Where exactly did you find the water, driverside or passengerside (i assume its a lhd car)?
If its on the passenger side and your car has sunroof, it might be the drainhose from it that got a leak.

If not, and youre still got plans to change it, its not that hard to do it by your self with a little help from someone.

The hardest part is to pull out the chrome frames without bending them to much.

Thanks a bunch for the input!

It's a lhd car, without a sunroof. So that is ruled out.

The water is driping from behind instrument cluster to knee panel (the big panel below steering wheel).

From there it drips down to the floor mat.

I had a bigger leak problem, that I solved by sealing wiring loom holes (ECU wire loom etc.) with silicone. This is not it, since the water is driping from above, instead of running under the carpeting.

I will probably look up carglass, since I do not have neither tools nor a hand for help right now at this moment. And I have to do it before winter - if the accumulated water freezes there, things will go south very fast :)

Thanks again! Your help is most appreciated!
