Hej, skall byta rattstång för att kunna använda en M-ratt från en 95a istället för bussratten som sitter orginal i min M5. Har nu köpt en rattstång men vill inte behöva ha två nycklar till bilen utan flytta över mitt tändningslås till den "nya" rattstången. Hur gör man för att få ut låset? Borra bort dom släta skruvskallarna som håller låset, alternativt knacka med hammare på en smal huggmejsel lutad åt det håll skruven skall skruvas ur knacka runtom skruvskallen tills den lossar. 628csi |

Hej, Kolla om detta fungerar, det brukar gå ganska lätt att få loss låscylindern om man har nyckel. Har dock inte provat detta på en E34 men på andra bilar. To strip the steering column down to remove the lock barrel goes like this; Disconnect the battery FIRST 1) remove the steering column shrouds. 2) remove the airbag (Two TORX 30 screws on the reverse side of the steering wheel). 3) disconnect the airbag connector. 4) remove the switch gear - indicator stalks and let them dangle down. 5) undo the bolt in the centre of the steering wheel. 6) remove the steering wheel. 7) remove the red wax from the ingition switch screw housings (one iether side) 8) remove the grub screws with a small flat screwdriver to withdraw the ignition switch from the lock casting 9) remove the sheer bolts which hold the casting pipe clamp to the steering column with a small chisel to loosen enough to undo the bolts by hand. 9) remove the circlip from the centre of the steering column 10) slide off the bushes 11) remove the aluminium casting lock barrel / steering lock - this just pulls rearwards. put the key in the lock cylinder and turn clockwise approx 45 to 60 degrees and look to the right of the key to see a small hole on the lock cylinder. 12) this hole must line up with a flash / casting mark on the underside of the lock barrel. 13) sharpen a 1mm allen key and insert it into the hole on the lock cylinder - this operates a release mechanism so you can retract the lock cylinder with key from the barrel. 14) look into the barrel to see the actuation rod which operates the steering lock and ignition switch.(mine was broken). 15) file the bottom of the casting to remove the lugs holding in a small pin which stops the lock actuator rod being removed. 16) insert a flat screwdriver into the barrel an lever out the small pin. 17) remove the lock actuator rod. 18) I removed the steering lock mechanism but turning the casting upside down and tapping the whole casting on a table. 19) fix the rod or replace with one from a scrappers. 20) Reassemble in reverse order. |

Har nu provat och det funkar enligt 628csi. Jag flyttar helt enkelt över hela nr: 11 så slipper jag pillet med själva cylindern. Tack för tipsen 628 och Lars. mvh Daniel Länk Progress through pain |
