Låter som ett intressant alternativ till BMWs CD-växlare! /RS2 Alpine CHA-S634 6 Disc CD Changer (Ai-NET) Länk I installed (finally) my Alpine mp3 changer last night. It works great with the stock head unit. There is a bit of lag between songs and it's a pain to navigate 400 songs one by one, but other than that it's great to be able to have so much music in the car at once. Ok first of all, here are the parts you need to install the alpine cd changer into a non-HK non-NAV M3. To do this with a NAV and/or HK system you will need slightly different parts for the rear panel. You can check with a BMW dealer to find out. The cd changer and it's adaptors should be the same. Check here for some info: Länk Parts: Alpine Changer (CHA-S634) Alpine Ai-Net to M-Bus adaptor (KCA-130B) Soundgate BMW/Alpine I-Bus to M-Bus adaptor (ABMW35V2) BMW E46 2-dr lh liner foldingseat (51 47 8 266 569) BMW E46 4-dr/2-dr lh quarter brackets (82 11 1 470 436) The BMW parts came with all the instructions I needed. However, these sites were helpful: E46 changer install with NAV: Länk E46 changer install without NAV: Länk Here are the basics on what you have to do: - remove the left trunk liner and the little plastic tray underneath - remove the amplifier - mount the amp to the new brackets - mount the brackets to the left back trunk section - mount the changer - attach the changer to the KCA-130B connector - attach the KCA-130B connector to the Soundgate adaptor - attach the Soundgate adaptor to the BMW pre-wiring for the cd changer - re-add the new trunk liner That's it. The only problem I had was a rivet right behind the rear seat. It took me a long time to get that out. The instructions that came with the kit said to remove the rear left side bolsters but that was almost impossible to do. So what I did was remove the rear seat and pull the rear bolster out a bit to get to the rivet. Also, the instructions say to remove the trunk headliner, but I didn't need to do that. Just be careful not to break the plastic latch holding the rear trunk liner in place. It worked right away no problems. You can only see track and cd numbers, for example CD1-1 so you can't search for songs/albums easily. | |

Fantastisk information, har precis satt igång hela karusellen med s634 till min e39:a. Det fanns tydligen (läste detta på en hemsida ngnstans)2 st. olika protokollomvandlare från BMW-bus till Alpine-bus (som klarar av att prata med mp3-växlaren) där den ena var mkt snabbare på att 'bläddra', dock utan att klara av mp3-text (den som klarar av detta borde med bibehållen originalstereo borde få Oscar i programmering). Jag har en orginal monterad cd växlare, behöver jag dra nya kablar om jag ska byta till den ni skriver om här? ___________________________________ 2:an är den förste att förlora guldet. |
