Got my 530i V8 this tuesday and I want to change the oil right away :) Question is, what would you recommend? Car has driven 366tkm and purs like a kitten. Manual says 15W40 oil. What would you put on it :) semi or full synthetic? | |

I would use a full synthetic oil of high quality f ex Mobil 1 or Castrol. To be on the safe side do two oilchanges in a row to flush out residual particles from the engine .I would use a cheaper oil at the first change and then put in the good stuff. If you want to use semi oil Motul have a good one . Good luck ! |

I doesn't matter what brand you use, the important part is the API / ACEA clasification. And yes I would recomend you to use a fully syntethic motoroil. I would recomend an oil that excedes the demands for API SL/CF or ACEA A3. ___ Vagnparken: Länk |
