Hi all. I once saw an advert for something on Bilsport - and I cannot find it again, it was a service which cleaned the engine of all the old oil and build up of sludge, using a high pressure mineral oil cleaning process. I think someone called it Bil dialys. Now I have searched for this on the web - but have had no luck. Please could someone let me know of a company that offers this service near Karlstad or Göteborg. Camata Many thanks sir. Well I did it and I can say it is well worth the moeny - smoother, more responsive in higher gears at lower speeds. And I think the fuel consumption has gone down - I have done only one test and it shows 1mpg more. I'm glad it worked. The feedback of this engine flush-thingy has been nothing but positive, so I think we couldn't expect any other result? =) |

Jeppe - surely this is just for the service not the oil? I paid 2200, so 990 for the dialys and 1110 for 7litres of oil and 100 for the BMW oil filter. rgds James |

Anders The way I see it Bilsteins product for cleaning the oil channel in the engine is pretty much unique - it could be done by IKEA, and I would still use it. It makes sense for the older cars - if you really want to make sure that you are reducing the wear and tear of your favourite engine then why not protect your investment? it's definitely worth it, the results speak for themselves - as they say. Its nothing to do with people being ignorant (or "sick" as you said), its about personal choice. Rgds J PS. Dont understand the "lonely to live in the US" thing. |

Bilstein Engine Flush System tar bort all kvarstannad olja, samtidigt som insidan av motorn rengörs. Skulle någon FRISK person hälla i en halv liter avtappad smutsig använd olja samtidigt som man häller i ny olja i samband med oljebyte? Naturligtvis INTE, Z MMM Coupe |

Hi Schnitzer I had a look at the oil after the process and the oil is very clear and transparent now - before there was alot of black little specks but not now. The process is very fast it only takes around ten miutes and the pressure of the machine cleaning the oil is around 18bar. I hope you do it as you will not regret it.
